Overview
The Radeon RX 9070 XT is AMD's upper-midrange graphics card and one of the first GPUs built on the new RDNA 4 architecture, slotting in above the previous-generation RX 7800 XT.
It pairs 16GB of GDDR6 memory with a major leap in ray-tracing performance over RDNA 3, plus FSR 4 — AMD's machine-learning upscaler — and AV1 encoding for higher-quality streaming and recording.
With that VRAM buffer and feature set, the 9070 XT is built for high-refresh 1440p gaming and is comfortable stepping up to 4K in most titles. It's a strong fit for gamers who want modern upscaling and ray tracing, as well as creators who benefit from the extra memory and AV1 support.
