The GIGABYTE AORUS RTX 5090 AI BOX is an external GPU enclosure — not a card you install inside a PC — that houses a full desktop NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090. Announced in January 2025, it connects over Thunderbolt 5 to give laptops and mini PCs desktop-class graphics and AI compute without a full build.
The enclosure carries the complete Blackwell flagship: 32GB of GDDR7 on a 512-bit bus, 1,792 GB/s of bandwidth and 21,760 CUDA cores at a 575W power envelope.
