Overview
The Radeon RX 7700 XT is AMD's upper mid-range RDNA 3 graphics card, released in September 2023 alongside the RX 7800 XT. It succeeds the RX 6700 XT in AMD's lineup, bringing the RDNA 3 architecture's efficiency and feature improvements to the competitive 1440p segment.
It is equipped with 12GB of GDDR6 memory on a 192-bit bus. RDNA 3 brings upgraded hardware ray tracing over RDNA 2, AV1 hardware video encoding, and support for FSR 3 with Fluid Motion Frames in compatible titles. The card uses a chiplet-based design, a first for AMD consumer GPUs in this generation.
