Overview
The GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16GB is the higher-VRAM version of NVIDIA's Blackwell mid-range Ti card, priced at $429. It shares the same die and 180W TDP as the 8GB variant but doubles the GDDR7 frame buffer, making it the more future-proof of the two options.
Beyond the 16GB of GDDR7 memory, the RTX 5060 Ti 16GB includes the same 4th-generation ray-tracing cores, 5th-generation Tensor cores, DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation, and AV1 hardware encoding found across the Blackwell lineup. The larger memory pool benefits workloads that stress VRAM — high-resolution textures, modding, and certain creative applications — without altering the underlying compute configuration.
This card is best suited to 1440p gamers and light creators who want extra memory headroom for longevity, or who work with assets that can exceed 8GB of VRAM. The $50 premium over the 8GB model is the primary trade-off buyers will weigh.
