Overview
The Radeon PRO W6800 is AMD's high-end RDNA 2 professional GPU and the flagship of the Radeon Pro W6000 series. Built on the full Navi 21 die using TSMC's N7 process — the same die powering the consumer Radeon RX 6800 XT and RX 6900 XT — it applies AMD's RDNA 2 architecture to a fully professional configuration, headlined by an exceptionally large ECC-protected GDDR6 framebuffer.
The card carries 32GB of GDDR6 memory with ECC support on a 256-bit memory interface delivering 512 GB/s of bandwidth. It features 3840 stream processors for 17.8 TFLOPS of FP32 compute. At 250W TDP in a dual-slot form factor on a PCIe 4.0 x16 interface, it runs AMD's professional Radeon Pro certified driver stack with the full ISV certification matrix.
The Radeon PRO W6800 is designed for demanding professional visualization, large-assembly CAD/CAE, high-complexity 3D rendering, simulation, AI/ML development, and broadcast-quality media production where 32GB of ECC-protected VRAM is a key asset. Its 32GB framebuffer accommodates large professional datasets, complex scenes, and high-resolution texture sets that exceed the capacity of mainstream workstation cards.
