Overview
The Radeon PRO W5700 is AMD's high-performance RDNA 1 workstation GPU and the flagship of the Radeon Pro W5000 series. Built on the full Navi 10 die — the same die powering the consumer Radeon RX 5700 XT — using TSMC's N7 process, it was AMD's first high-end professional discrete GPU based on the RDNA architecture.
The card carries 8GB of GDDR6 memory with ECC support on a 256-bit memory interface delivering 448 GB/s of bandwidth. It features 2304 stream processors for approximately 8.5 TFLOPS of FP32 compute. At 130W TDP in a dual-slot form factor on a PCIe 4.0 x16 interface, it runs AMD's Radeon Pro certified professional driver stack with ISV certification across major professional applications.
The Radeon PRO W5700 suits professional visualization, large-assembly CAD/CAE, 3D rendering, simulation, and media production where AMD ISV certification is required and high memory bandwidth is prioritised. As a discontinued predecessor to the W6000 and W7000 generations, it may be found in the secondary market as an affordable certified professional option where its 448 GB/s memory bandwidth justifies the choice over lower-bandwidth alternatives.
