Overview
The Quadro RTX 6000 is the second-tier flagship in NVIDIA's Turing-generation Quadro RTX professional lineup, launched alongside the RTX 8000 in late 2018. Sharing the same TU102 die as the RTX 8000 with 4608 CUDA cores, it delivers comparable compute throughput at 24GB of VRAM — a complete professional workstation configuration at a lower cost than the 48GB flagship.
The card carries 24GB of GDDR6 memory with ECC support on a 384-bit bus delivering 624 GB/s of bandwidth. It delivers 16.3 TFLOPS of FP32 throughput via 4608 CUDA cores, with 1st-generation RT cores and 1st-generation Tensor cores. In a dual-slot form factor on PCIe 3.0 x16 rated at 295W, it supports NVLink for pooling memory across two cards to 48GB combined. It runs NVIDIA's ISV-certified Quadro professional drivers.
The Quadro RTX 6000 is well suited to professional visualization, VFX, 3D rendering, simulation, AI/ML inference, and CAD/CAE. Its 24GB ECC framebuffer handles large scenes and datasets, while NVLink support allows expansion to 48GB for workloads that require more capacity than a single card provides.
