Overview
The GeForce RTX 3060 Ti is NVIDIA's upper-mainstream Ampere card, sitting between the RTX 3060 and RTX 3070 in the RTX 3000 lineup. It succeeds the RTX 2060 Super and was widely recognized at launch for delivering performance close to the RTX 3070 at a meaningfully lower price.
It pairs 8GB of GDDR6 memory on a 256-bit bus with a larger GA104 die than the standard RTX 3060, providing substantially more CUDA cores and memory bandwidth. The card carries 2nd-generation RT cores, 3rd-generation Tensor cores, and DLSS 2, with a 200W TDP that requires a capable mid-range system.
The RTX 3060 Ti is well suited to 1080p gaming at maximum settings and delivers smooth 1440p performance in most titles, especially with DLSS enabled. It targets gamers who want more headroom than a standard RTX 3060 provides without stepping up to the higher cost of the RTX 3070 tier.
