GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER

The GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER is a revised version of the GTX 1660, released in late 2019 to address the original card's memory bandwidth constraints. It occupies the same mid-range tier as the standard GTX 1660 but delivers noticeably faster performance thanks to a key memory upgrade, making it one of the most competitive options in its price bracket.

The defining change over the GTX 1660 is the replacement of GDDR5 with GDDR6 memory, which significantly increases effective memory bandwidth while keeping the 192-bit bus. Shader count and core configuration remain similar to the base model. The GTX 1660 SUPER still belongs to the GTX 16-series and therefore lacks RT cores and Tensor cores — hardware ray tracing and DLSS are not supported. TDP sits at approximately 125W with a single 8-pin connector.

The GTX 1660 SUPER is well suited to 1080p gaming at high to ultra settings, and offers a credible 1440p experience in less demanding titles. It is a strong buy for players who want solid mainstream performance at a modest budget and have no need for ray tracing or AI-upscaling features.
